Moving to Hong Kong has panicked me...

After googling the weather forecast for when I arrive (tan prepping!) I googled Hong Kong Vogue to get a subscription.

I came across Alex Wang‘s show at the Hong Kong Fashion Week, and fell in love! I may be a little bit late in pointing out the designs, but they are so beautifully timeless I decided its no big deal.

Background

Alex is a graduate of Beijing’s Central Academy of Fine Arts and set up the Alex Wang Couture Studio in 2004. It wasn’t long before he attracted fans from Chinese’s most stylish actresses.

Design sensibility

Fine handwork, embroidery and beading are all hallmarks of his style.
